Product Description

The open barrel crimping pliers support a crimping range of 0.5–6 mm² and include three crimping slots to accommodate different terminal sizes. They are designed to provide consistent crimps for flat receptacles, ensuring stable attachment of receptacles and plugs to achieve reliable electrical connections. The smooth crimping surface helps maintain conductivity and contributes to the durability of each connection.

These pliers are suitable for various applications, including electronic repair, lighting installation, and household wiring tasks. With the integrated ratchet mechanism, the required crimping force is reduced, improving efficiency during operation. The ergonomic handle design provides a comfortable grip and helps minimize hand fatigue during extended use.

Pressure Regulator

Rotate towards the “+” mark to increase pressure, and towards the “–” mark to decrease pressure.

  • AWG 22–10 OPEN BARREL RANGE Designed for compatible non-insulated open barrel terminals across AWG 22–10 / 0.5–6 mm². Suitable for spade, ring, sleeve, tab, plug and socket terminals within the rated range. Match the crimping cavity to the terminal profile and conductor size before use.
  • AUTOMOTIVE AND ELECTRICAL WIRING Suitable for automotive wiring harnesses, control-panel wiring, equipment installation, low-voltage repairs and workshop maintenance. Designed for licensed electricians, auto electricians, automotive technicians, equipment installers and maintenance teams.
  • APPROX. 38 HRC NICKEL-CHROMIUM JAWS The nickel-chromium alloy jaws are hardened to approximately 38 HRC. A smooth-finished crimping surface helps support wear and corrosion resistance while promoting stable terminal forming during repeated workshop use.
  • ADJUSTABLE RATCHETING PRESSURE The ratcheting mechanism helps apply controlled pressure throughout each crimp. A star-shaped adjustment wheel allows the compression level to be fine-tuned for compatible terminal and wire combinations, helping reduce excessive or insufficient crimping.
  • QUICK RELEASE AND ERGONOMIC GRIP The quick-release lever allows the jaws to reopen if a terminal is misaligned or the crimping process needs to be interrupted. Cushioned, non-slip ergonomic handles provide secure control during detailed and repetitive wiring tasks.
